COURSE:
Facility Renovations for ICD/ICS 705 & TEMPEST Compliance
/ ONLINE /
Focused on the complexities of secure facility renovation, this course equips professionals with the insight and practical knowledge needed to navigate ICD-705 renovation challenges from initial planning through accreditation. Participants will learn how to effectively manage design, inspection, and leadership briefings to ensure compliance and cost efficiency in SCIF/SAPF renovation projects.
Target audience: Anyone involved in the renovation or retrofitting of facilities for SCIF/SAPF projects, including Architects, Engineers, SSMs, SSOs, GSSOs, PJs, PSOs, PEs, CEs, CORs, and KO/COs. Instruction addresses real-world applications, with a strong focus on:
- Site inspections and selection
- Briefing leadership on funding and operational impacts
- Strategies for mitigating risk and achieving ICD-705/AO accreditation within acceptable cost and schedule parameters
Developed around current ICD/ICS-705 and other U.S. Government policies, directives, and memorandums, this course is not an ICD-705 or TEMPEST-specific program, but rather, a specialized training for renovation-focused professionals.
While there are no prerequisites, it is highly recommended that students first complete ICD/ICS-705 SCIF/SAPF Planning, Design & Construction (PDC) and/or TEMPEST/RF training courses to establish foundational understanding prior to attendance.
