The TEMPEST & Technical Security Professional (TTSP™) certification is an advanced, high-level credential developed by the SSG Technical Security Division (TSD) for personnel supporting U.S. Government Technical Security & Signals Countermeasures (TSSC) missions.

Developed by experts within the fields of TSCM, TEMPEST, and ICD-705 Technical Security
Delivers the baseline and next-generation technical education solutions government teams have requested
Backed by IACET / ANSI accreditation and recognized across the TSSC community
The TTSP™ certification establishes a standardized level of competence for individuals supporting TEMPEST, TSCM, and broader technical security operations. This platform is designed exclusively for technical offices within government, military, and industry sectors. Its primary purpose is to address training bottlenecks, facilitate mission expansion, and mitigate the limited availability of TSCM and TEMPEST mentorship.

The TTSP™ program is designed to augment government training, strengthen team capability, and prepare personnel for advanced government courses as those opportunities become available.
TTSP™ Does not replace:
  • US National TEMPEST School
  • Interagency Training Center (ITC)
  • Any U.S. Government–issued TEMPEST or TSCM certification requirement
Graduates of TTSP™ will be able to:
  • Apply advanced proficiency in TEMPEST, TSCM, and technical security concepts
  • Demonstrate competency across standardized TSSC functions
  • Support secure facility environments and contribute to countermeasure implementation
  • Integrate emerging technical threats into planning and operational decisions
  • Operate and interpret results from specialized TEMPEST and TSCM equipment
  • Follow structured methodologies for inspections, testing, and field execution

Allobjectives remain intentionally broad to avoid disclosing sensitive or proprietary training content.

Core Competency Areas:
  • RF theory and spectrum operations
  • TEMPEST fundamentals and modern countermeasures
  • Shielded enclosures and shielding effectiveness (SE) concepts
  • RED/BLACK installation and inspection requirements
  • TEMPEST test equipment familiarization
  • Emanation testing and analysis
  • Countermeasure design and accreditation considerations
  • TSCM fundamentals, equipment, and search concepts
  • NONSTOP phenomenon awareness
  • Full-scope TSCM survey execution
